Freedom is not free. It is paid with every drop of blood, sweat, and tears of our men and women who serve or has served in the armed forces.

Had Enough!

The Tea Parties were a big success as thousands of Americans coordinated an event that crossed state lines all across the United States. In one loud voice, America made a statement that we have had a enough of the taxes.  As I watched the events unfold, I was in awe that the conservative side was able to establish a common protest that included people across party lines.  Democrats and Republicans  alike came out to voice their opinion.  It is time that we clean up congress and take back what is ours: America.

For years now, we have sent representatives to congress in hopes that they would fight for our rights and freedom.  However, many have failed America because they became greedy for money and fame.  They forgot why we sent them to congress. Who would ever pass a huge bill that would cost American taxpayers billions of dollars and never the read the bill? Who, in their right mind, would push for more taxes and then not pay their fair share of the tax burden?

Politicians from both sides of the aisle have sold America down the river. They have steered us from the shores of freedom into the rapids of socialism and huge debts.  They no longer care for the freedoms that America has fought for for more than 200 years.  They have sold their principles to the devil for political power, fame, and fortune.  They no longer seek for the good of the people but for the good of their own prosperity.

The Politician fears political defeat more than standing up for what is right.  Senator Arlen Specter was sent to congress to represent the republican party.  When his party realized that he was no longer representing the party's platform his poll numbers began to decrease.   In fear of loosing his position as a U.S. Senator he changed parties in hopes of remaining in the senate.  Where are his principles?  Where is the man who stood for conservative ideals?   You see, he loves the fame and fortune more than the people he represents.   He is a man without principles and integrity.

When the Politician lingers in congress for long periods of time, they begin to spoil and become drunken with the power, fame, and fortune.  Too many senators and congressmen and women have served too long and have forgotten why they serve as our representatives. For this reason, the spirit of revolution is beginning to surface once again in America.

The  Tea Parties were the first voices who said "enough is enough".  They are those who dared to speak up against the status quo.  We are Americans who will no longer tolerate the evil manipulations and immoral judgments of our government. And so, we stand, as those early Americans did against the tyrant who tried to enslave us with unjust laws and unnecessary taxes.   It is important that the people hold those who represent us accountable for their decisions.  This is one soldier who has had enough of the games in Washington. We must raise our voices and force Washington to stop the insanity.  Please do your part in saving the precious freedoms that our ancestors so bravely fought and died to preserve.

Sacrifice for free is not duty but an honor.
